There is a certain kind of fire that does not roar. 
It does not blind or scorch — it glows.
It lives quietly, suspended between light and shadow,
burning with just enough warmth to illuminate the dark.

Pale Flame Studio was created from this space between extremes.
In life, as in art, there are moments of brilliance and moments of stillness—flashes of intensity followed by quiet.
The pale flame is a reminder that beauty is not only found in the highest peaks or deepest valleys, but in the subtle transitions between them.

Each piece created here attempts to carry that dual nature —holding both the calm and the spark within the same frame.

Pale Flame Studio exists for those who understand that light means more when it has touched the dark, and that even the gentlest fire can change everything it touches.

About the Artist

Maeve was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. She is largely self-taught and takes much of her inspiration from nature. From flowers and fish to alligators and birds, she enjoys the beauty in the contrast and color of the natural world. 

 Maeve works in many different mediums including watercolor and oils but is also currently experimenting with other techniques.
